This is a new website that attempts to offer consumer advice on renting a car.  It is not one of those places where you go to find the cheapest deal in large tables of comparisons.  There are plenty of those out there already, some quite good and accurate and some that seem to favour the cheaper outlets of often dubious quality and integrity.

Rental Car Advisor is what it says on the box, advice and information to help anyone seeking car rental to pick the best deal.  To do that, you need to know some background to the rental market, how the big names became successful and the state of their current business.  Armed with this data you can pick over the deals and rates on offer and be guided to the sites where you can select your location, dates and type of vehicle before choosing which way to jump.

Later in 2010 we hope to be able to add enough customer reviews to include first-hand experiences with star ratings to make the task of choosing more reliable.
